My newspaper career began on a cold and snowy day in February of 1974 and ended the same way on another cold and snowy day in February, 2013. In between these 39 years of publishing, very few in the Fifth Estate would ever feel the incredible power and malice of the press like I did – and sometimes all in the same week. And less still would promote their publications using whatever means possible even if that meant embellishing a story past the point of no return.

This book is innovative as I believe I am the first to include an intermission into the middle and as an added bonus I have included a short story entitled The Rock Creek Winter War. It is a Western with a lot of literary licence about what happened in the winter of 1860 in Rock Creek, B.C. I then end the intermission and continue on with Reed All About It.
