The mission of the South Main Alliance is to protect and enhance the quality of life in the South Main area where the Museum District, Hermann Park, Reliant Park, the Texas Medical Center, Rice University, the University of St. Thomas and the Houston Community College System are located and to support physical and intellectual connectivity among these organizations and the neighborhoods surrounding them.
