Any fan of the novel American Psycho and its 2000 big screen counterpart knows that the music is as integral to the work as the murders. In both, Patrick Bateman, the gore-obsessed 1980s Wall Street executive, spends nearly as much time dissecting Whitney Houston and Genesis' bodies of work as he does, um, dissecting bodies.
