The Great Ocean Road is a 243 kilometre stretch of road which winds all around the south eastern shoreline of Victoria, starting at the Metropolis of Torquay and ending near to Warrnambool. The coastline is typically referred to as "shipwreck coast" due to the fact about 200 ships floundered in the 1800's and early 1900's. These days the area is a wonderful tourist area and requires in some of the most spectacular and stunning scenery in the planet.
