I think the car was kept in the garage for all of 6 months. We have now lived in the same house for over 30 years, and our cars have never again seen the inside of our garage.

The garage now holds at least 7 shelving units on which is placed every tool imaginable. Not including my table saw, compressor, work horses, snow blower, lawn mower and every Holiday decoration known to man or woman.

Let’s now talk about closets. Well I was never able to come up with a solution for my wife’s request for a larger closet.

So she has turned a perfectly good bedroom into the place to store house hold necessities such as curtains, holiday nick knacks, and of course seasonal clothes that I am sure no longer fit.

Now don’t get me started on my daughter. If only I had accepted a neighbors suggestion, “that once the daughter was married, to sell the house, move and don’t leave a forwarding address.

Of course the wife wouldn’t hear of that. You guessed it. She came back, and of course she came back with all of her house hold items. No cherished item ever gets discarded.
